"When I first saw Avebury the pull I had been feeling for months was even stronger, and I realized that I had a smile on my face when I saw the 'Avebury' sign. I met Jan and Jay at Silbury Hill and went in Jays car to the actual village. As soon as I saw the stones in their avenue by the side of the road I knew I was home. This is where I was supposed to be. My soul cried out in wonder and my heart cried out in joy as my eyes beheld the mystery of these grandfathers. As soon as I walked among the massive boulders that make up the standing stones around the village it was as if I was walking among my relations, my kin, my blood..... " - Gloria Hazell

The Swallowhead that heralds spring to the land every year. This is where water nymphs have been spotted and is close to where the Mary (female) ley-line joins the Micheal (male) ley-line to weave their way around the village. This stream winds it's way close to the West Kennett longbarrow
The trio of Beech trees that watch over the stones of Avebury. This ridge carries the walker above and around the stones These trees are totally awesome.
